We are located in Fresno, California. We have been breeding and showing Bengal's for over 10 years. We only keep a small number of cats so that way we can focus on raising them to fit in with your family. We are a registered cattery through TICA with zero complaints.
We do not believe in cages. Our kittens are raised in our home surrounded by kids, other fixed cats, and a large indoor dog. In turn this is how you have a well socialized Bengal kitty. We feed our cats instinct raw cat/kitten food as well as wet instinct food. This is to ensure health and wellbeing of our cats/kittens.
We encourage visitors so they may bond with their baby. we can also take live videos if needed as well. We do ship kittens using various airlines as well as a pet nanny service.
All kittens will come with: 3 Year genetic health contract, all shots, deworming, health check from the vet, microchip and 30 days of free pet health insurance through Trupanion. Tica papers. You can register your cat with LCWW and CFA if you want also.
Any questions are welcomed.
Health
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a common disease found in Bengal cats. In this disease, the heart muscles become abnormally thick and make it harder for the heart to pump blood. It is a genetic disease. This is why we test yearly for this disease.
Another disease that Bengal cats are affected by is progressive Retinal Atrophy, also known as PRA-B or PRA. If the results show the veterinarian tested, it is tested by the breeder. Our cats are negative.
Apart from this, Bengal Cats are also prone to certain infectious diseases like Feline Infectious Peritonitis and Trichomonas fetus, which is a protozoal infection that causes diarrhea. It is imperative to maintain proper health and prevent weight gain in the Bengal.
Distal Neuropathy is a nervous system disorder that causes weakness in cats. It could be detected at an early stage when the kitten is a year old. Though many cats recover, few relapses. Flat-chested kitten syndrome is another disease that is common in Bengal cats. It is a deformity that ranges from mild to severe. The kittens who survive through adulthood usually reveal no signs of disease at the mature stage.
It is advised to keep the cats indoors to prevent other harmful diseases. Keep your Bengal Cat on the right nutrition diet and ensure a healthy fur and body.
A hybrid cat breed, Bengal cats are a cross between feral Asian leopard cats and domestic house cats.
Bengal cats can have several different coat patterns and colors, including:
Bengal cats are the only domestic cat that features the rosettes commonly seen on jaguars and leopards, making them one of the most unique house cat breeds.
Bengal cats have large, wide eyes and an athletic and muscular build, with back legs longer than the front legs and a hind end higher than the shoulders. It comes as no surprise that the Bengal cat can jump more than three times their height!
Bengal cats have temperament and personality traits blended from both their domestic house cat and Asian leopard cat ancestors. Bengal cats can be affectionate and loyal pets, but they can also be territorial and may not enjoy sharing their space with another cat in the home.
They also require a fair amount of attention and exercise. Cat trees, interactive toys and playmates, whether in the form of another house cat or a human, will help keep them stimulated. Whether they’re running, jumping or playing, Bengal cats want to move — and their owners should be prepared to be active companions. Highly intelligent, Bengal cats can learn to play fetch and take walks on a leash. You may even catch them hiding small items as a way of playing, so be mindful of your keys!
Bengal cats are also known for their love of water and might enjoy swimming in a kiddie pool or hopping in the bathtub. Additionally, Bengal cats tend to channel their natural instincts to hunt smaller animals, including fish. Owners should keep Bengal cats away from fish tanks and smaller pets like hamsters or gerbils.
